    Description

    Glass-domed round paperweight is 120 years old this year. From the 1901 Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, N.Y., it is filled with small shells and measures 3.5" in diameter.
    It's in very good condition for its age with clear glass with no nicks or cracks and intact shells.
    The paper-lined back side bears the name of a previous owner -- Mertie Harding -- and is dated 1921.
    The Pan American Exposition, a World's Fair, drew 8 million visitors to Buffalo between May and November of 1901.
